"The drive is an easy drive from Spokane, the road to her house has lots of curves but it just adds to the excitement of reaching your destination. The house is lovely and sits literally right on the lake. The quilting set up is fantastic. Joanne has thought of everything. The lighting is wonderful, the tables are roomy and she provides irons and ironing boards, which is nice. She has an area set up for cutting and a nice design wall as well. The bedrooms are lovely and large! Her hospitality is absolutely wonderful and she is a fun and entertaining person....She is a GREAT cook and a wonderful hostess! This is my first retreat I`ve ever attended and we are already booking time for our next one in October. I had a relaxing, enjoyable time and was able to get several projects completed that I had in my pile and had a wonderful time with my old friends and meeting new friends as well!! I highly recommend going if you have the opportunity!!!"
